"I had a couple of physiotherapy sessions but all i was given were a few stretches and i was discharged".
I hear it time and time again.
Sub par physiotherapy treatments.
What bugs me the most is the HANDS OFF approach from a growing number of physiotherapists.
"Theres no evidence to show hands on treatment works" you will hear them chime from their office as they discharge yet another patient.
Not all physios are like this.
There are countless amazing physiotherapists I have met over the years.
They all have one thing in common however.
The HANDS ON approach.
Personally (due to what I regularly witness) is the simple fact people are tense.
This could be due to their job, hobbies, stress or life.
There are countless reasons but i wont bore you.
All you need to know is people are tense.
So
Why Sport Massage Over Physiotherapy
It's a simple answer.
It is a hands on treatment.
You will be provided with 30-45 minutes worth of HANDS ON treatment.
Not a measly 10 minutes where only a tiny little area is worked on.
What are you waiting for?
You may as well get booked.
